Adams Wholesale Supply, Inc. is a Texas-based, lawn and garden distribution company founded in 1977 by Thomas Adams, Sr. in San Antonio, TX. In the 80’s, Adams expanded their distribution service into Austin, which included San Marcos, New Braunfels and the Texas Hill Country. Upon the completion of his college education in the early 1990’s, Tom Adams, Jr. joined his father and assisted with the management operations of the company. He increased the Adams distribution network by adding suppliers, which in turn, offered more products to the independent dealers. He also concentrated on the dealer demands and recognized that customer service is paramount. In mid-2000 as the business was growing, Tom, Sr. and Tom, Jr. added Mary Adams Kelly to the San Antonio team as office manager.
In 2006, seeing an opportunity in the greater Houston area, Adams opened a second warehouse. Adams has developed a knowledgeable team of associates in the Houston market, offering a vast product selection and the Adams exceptional customer service.
The Adams family is excited to announce the opening of their third lawn and garden distribution warehouse in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Like San Antonio and Houston, the DFW location will be servicing nurseries, garden centers, growers, hardware stores, feed stores, landscape contractors, and the construction industry.
